A gift honoring family legacy and serving generations to come
We are pleased to share a beautiful new addition to Pleasant Hill Cemetery—one that reflects both generosity and deep family roots.
Through the kindness of the Kenneth Butts family, one of our longtime legacy families, a thoughtfully designed pavilion has been added to the grounds. Kenneth shared that they wanted to gift this beautiful addition in honor of his parents, Elmer “Bubba” Butts and Elvina “Bluebird” Butts.
This new pavilion provides a welcoming, covered space for graveside services, offering comfort and shelter for families during meaningful moments. It also creates a quiet place for reflection—a spot to pause, remember, and take in the peaceful surroundings of Pleasant Hill.
Additions like this don’t just enhance the cemetery physically—they strengthen the sense of care, continuity, and respect that defines this place.
We are sincerely grateful to the Butts family for their continued commitment to preserving and improving Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
