A successful workday by the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association has the grounds looking beautifully refreshed.
If you haven’t visited recently, you may notice several improvements right away. Thanks to a productive and enjoyable workday on April 25, the cemetery is looking especially cared for.
Here are some of the things to be on the lookout for:
- Brighter Headstones
Many of the headstones have been gently pressure washed, revealing details and inscriptions that had been hidden over time. The difference is noticeable and meaningful.
- A Clean, Refreshed Fence Line
The perimeter fence has been pressure washed and cleared of weeds, giving the entire property a more maintained and welcoming appearance.
- A Lifted Tree Canopy
Trimming back the trees has opened up light and visibility throughout the grounds, creating a more peaceful and spacious feel.
- A Beautiful Completed Pavilion
The new pavilion is finished and looks wonderful. It provides a simple, welcoming place for gathering, reflection, and rest.
- Grounds That Are Cared For
From cleared fence lines to treated ant mounds, the small but important details have been addressed to help keep the cemetery in good condition moving forward.
And one more helpful update—the restroom located at the back of the property is now working, making visits more comfortable for everyone.
